the highest ski area of Abruzzo, which rises with its ski lifts in the direction of 2,233 meters of Mount Scindarella. The high altitude favours excellent snow cover for most of the winter. The Campo Imperatore plateau offers good opportunities for cross-country skiers, while the gullies of the Gran Sasso allow for countless off-piste and ski-touring itineraries.
