They are certainly one of the most picturesque places in all of Italy, with layer upon layer of rainbow colored houses perched on the hills.<\/p>\n

The easiest and fastest way to move between Cinque Terre villages is by train. Cinque Terre trains connect six stops: La Spezia which is the capital of the area and the “official” villages of Cinque Terre Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza and Monterosso, and the city of Levanto.<\/p>\n

The territory is located within Cinque Terre National Park. Here you can take mountain bike trails or go horseback riding through the pine forests.<\/p>\n
