At the center of the lake stands Monte Isola, a real mountain on the island that divides the lake in two and separates the Brescia side from the Bergamo side. Montisola is the largest lake island in Europe.<\/p>\n

Returning to the mainland you cannot visit Lovere, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. Visit the Tandini Gallery and then enjoy a plate of polenta with local cold cuts.<\/p>\n

For sports lovers, we suggest trekking on the Antica Strada Valerina, which once connected to Valcamonica, or a walk in the nature reserves: Torbiere del Sebino, Pyramids of Zone and Valle del Freddo.<\/p>\n

Finally, for wine lovers, we point out that in the surroundings of the lake there is Franciacorta, a wine region where you can meet the same wine producers, ask questions about the winemaking process and enjoy some incredible samplings.<\/p>\n
